We are James and Craig Akers, brothers with a passion for everything local.

We both own The Pantry, situated in the lovely Courtyard Craft Centre in Lytchett Minster. You could say we've inherited our passion for local produce with our late grandad being a sheppard and flambe chef and loving all things local.

As well as The Pantry, we both own Hundred Aker Honey, a small honey farm based in the sleepy village of Wool. We do all this aswell as having full time jobs, crazy I know! Craig is a qualified butcher at Taylors family butchers in Wool, this is where our meat for The Pantry comes from and James is a beekeeper working for Field honey farms, Dorset's largest honey producer.

Our journey at The Pantry started on the 1st of August 2024. Both new to the farm shop life, there was a sense of anxiety and talk of will it work, won't it work but almost a year on, there's no looking back! Hopefully this is just a stepping stone to more Pantry's in the local area with us both pushing for people to support and shop local!
