I opened my shop in May 2024, after putting my name down for a unit almost a year earlier. I was lucky enough to then be able to move into the bigger unit next door in September 2024.

I've been a crafter from an early age but always come back around to yarny things. I can knit but I really love to crochet. I offer a good range of yarns from cotton 4ply to super chunky (King Cole, Stylecraft, James C Brett, Wendy and Sirdar) and all sorts of little handy accessories.

I didn't want to be any old yarn shop, it’s all about the personal touch — I will help you find what you're looking for but I won't sell you something you don’t need. I can order a colour/yarn in if I don't stock it, you take what you need and I'll put the rest on the shelf. I want people to find the joy and achievement in making something for themselves as cost effectively as I can.
